I'm getting an echocardiogram soon. Mainely to call my fears that there's something wrong with my heart because I have a pretty bad anxiety disorder and the occasional bout of svt. The doctor didn't mention that I would get contrast and I didn't see it on the order. Should everyone get contrast in order to get better results? Also, are there any side effects to the contrast?

Watching this was a mistake! OMG! I need to ahve a BKA or who knows for sure amputation done pretty soon due to leg bone infection . I already had a partial foot amputation in Feb and now this..I' very scared..more so after seeing this chain saw like cutting device! The nurse used the word guillotine amputation today and I was curious..now I know why they say " Curiosity killed the cat!"
